Uni of Warwick’s Creative Futures is official partner of Esports and video game startups’ live competition
The University of Warwick’s Creative Futures has been announced as the Official Incubator Partner for Esports Insider (ESI)’s live pitch competition, The Clutch, this year, which invites startups in Esports and video game creation to compete for a £3,000 cash prize.
Creative Futures is the gateway between the University of Warwick and the region’s creative cluster. It delivers impact through various programmes and initiatives including a creative industries network, a start-up incubator, digital skills programmes and a state-of-the-art Esports Centre on campus.
The competition will take place in London, proudly presented by HSBC UK and EXCEL ESPORTS. In addition to the monetary reward, The Clutch participants will also get additional prizes courtesy of HSBC UK, EXCEL ESPORTS, and Socially, the Official Community Marketing Partner.
The panel of judges, meticulously selected by Esports Insider, boasts a wealth of collective experience spanning investments, business development, Esports, video games and the wider creator economy. Their expertise will play a pivotal role in determining this edition’s champion of The Clutch.
HSBC UK and EXCEL ESPORTS have pledged further support to The Clutch’s triumphant entrepreneur, offering access to invaluable resources for business development and a doorway to a world of opportunities through HSBC’s global network.
The winner will also gain access to enlightening marketing workshops and brand-building endeavours within the esports and gaming sectors, led by the specialized teams at EXCEL ESPORTS. The victor will also be granted the privilege of utilising EXCEL’s cutting-edge offices in London and Berlin.
