UK’s largest regional tech festival returns this October

Birmingham Tech Week is a great collaborative series of events that will take place across the City (and wider Greater Birmingham Region) between October 11 – 15th 2021.

Tech week will highlight Birmingham’s burgeoning tech scene and focus on a number of innovative topics.

It will officially kick off with our opening event where 350 tech advocates will come together. The event will look at what’s in store for the week and look ahead to the next 12 months – demonstrating why we should all be getting very excited.

That’s why during this event, there is also an entire day dedicated to a subject called Digital Skills. Throughout the day, people will get the opportunity to hear from thought leaders, learn new skills, discover new opportunities and connect with businesses across the region.

Tech and digital businesses from across the region have the opportunity to tell their stories – showcasing their innovation and success to a global audience.

Caroline Dinenage, Minister of State for Digital and Culture said that: “Birmingham tech has played a vital role in supporting businesses progress on their digital transformation journeys, helping individuals adapt and stay connected, and contributing to boosting growth and productivity.”

This day will be dedicated to supporting tech startups across the region, helping them acquire new knowledge, access investment and connect with business leaders.
