Three Nottinghamshire businesses recognised in Tech Track 100
Nottinghamhire firms UNiDAYS, Exco InTouch and Littlefish have successfully made it into the Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 – a league table ranking the fastest-growing UK technology, media and telecoms companies.
The ranking table is compiled according to sales growth over a three-year period, and restricted to UK-registered independently-owned companies that had annual sales exceeding £250,000 in the base year and £5m in the latest year.
The company employs 112 people across its Castle Boulevard headquarters and also has offices in New York and Sydney, allows global brands such as Apple, Spotify and McDonalds to instantly verify students across its web, app and in-store channels, which are used by 8.3 million people worldwide.
Co-founder and chief marketing officer Jay Ludditt said: “Securing our place among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK – and being the number one fastest growing tech business in the Midlands – further demonstrates the impact we are making in the student discount and marketing space.
“This is well-deserved recognition for our talented people across the globe, our relentless hunger to innovate, and of course, lots of hard work. As we continue to scale the business globally, this is only the beginning for UNiDAYS and I couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come.”
Edwalton-based Exco InTouch provides medical technology to 26,000 hospitals and clinics to capture clinical trials data, rose from 73rd position to 59th, with sales growing by 63 percent to £11.8m.
Managed IT services company Littlefish entred at 97th, having grown by 45 percent and reaching £5.2m. The business provides IT support to 8,500 users at the Houses of Parliament, employs 90 people across three UK sites, including 60 in Nottingham.
Managing Director Steve Robinson said: “We are immensely proud of the continuous growth achieved over the past few years. Being ranked this year is a reflection of our ongoing ambition and drive to deliver industry-leading services.
“Despite strong growth, we have been ever mindful of ensuring continued service excellence, both for new and existing customers. Our many long-standing customers are testament to this focus. We look forward to the next phase of growth and a continued push to challenge our larger competitors.”
