Telford’s nFocus aquired by Edinburgh firm 2i Testing
In a strategic move, Edinburgh-based 2i Testing has acquired nFocus, the long established Shropshire-based testing consultancy. This acquisition follows a significant investment from Rockpool and is part of 2i’s growth strategy aimed at enhancing its market presence and establishing itself as a top quality assurance company in the UK.
2i intends to boost customer experiences and drive operational efficiencies by integrating nFocus’ complementary strengths.
Dave Kelly, CEO of 2i, remarked, “nFocus aligns perfectly with our vision, culture, and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.”
Danny Crone, co-founder of nFocus, shared his thoughts on the union, stating, “When Ross Lister and I embarked on this journey nearly a quarter of a century ago, our vision was to build a business where talented individuals could thrive and where we could continuously delight our customers. I am incredibly proud to say that we have not only achieved this, but our team’s dedication and hard work have placed us in a remarkable position.”
Ryan James, managing director at nFocus, expressed his enthusiasm about the merger, “This is an exciting and pivotal moment for us. Two of the most successful testing organisations in the UK coming together in an organic way to create something truly unique and remarkable.”
In the short term, both companies will continue operating under their established brands, acknowledging their respective market recognitions.
Dave added, “To our incredible teams at 2i and nFocus – this is your success story. This acquisition is about empowering you with more opportunities, tools, and resources to grow, develop, and make an even bigger impact.”
