SOTI takes office space in central Solihull
Technology firm SOTI is to take space at the first new build speculative office scheme in the town for a decade.
SOTI has taken 9,100 sq ft at St Alphege Place in Mell Square, filling the three floors of office space above the brand new Carluccio’s restaurant.
Developer IM Properties acquired Mell Square in 2013 and has invested £3 million in St Alphege Place.
“Solihull is renowned for attracting both global and UK based companies,” said Rob Hemus from IM Properties. “SOTI was drawn to the strong amenity offer in the town centre as it looks to grow its business and retain and attract top tech talent.”
Canadian-headquartered SOTI opened its first UK office in Solihull in 2009 and is currently based at Cranmore Park.
It has more than 17,000 customers worldwide for its enterprise mobility management solutions.
Nassar Hussain, SOTI’s European managing director, added: “Our roots in Solihull continue to expand, and we are thrilled to offer our growing workforce a larger space full of world-class amenities for both work and play.”
Solihull is also home to Birmingham Business Park and Blythe Valley Business Park, which are both tenanted by technology companies.
