Tata Technologies, a global engineering and product development services firm, is expanding its operations in the West Midlands region of the UK. The company has signed a lease for 22,000 square feet of office space at Blythe Valley Park, near Solihull, and plans to hire over 200 new employees to support its growth in the area.
“We are excited to be expanding our operations in the West Midlands, a region that is renowned for its engineering heritage and talented workforce,” said Warren Harris, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Technologies. “Our investment in the area will enable us to better serve our clients and support their digital transformation journeys, while also providing new job opportunities for local talent.”
The expansion is part of Tata Technologies’ wider plans to increase its UK workforce to over 500 employees in the next few years. The company aims to tap into the region’s deep talent pool and establish a strong presence in the West Midlands, which has a thriving automotive and manufacturing industry.
Tata Technologies provides engineering and product development services to customers in the automotive, aerospace, and industrial machinery sectors, among others. The company’s services include product design and development, digital engineering, and PLM consulting.
“This is fantastic news for Solihull and the wider region. It’s a clear indication of the confidence that Tata Technologies has in the area, and we are delighted to welcome them to Blythe Valley Park,” said Councillor Ian Courts, Leader of Solihull Council.
