Cloud Gateway, a leading provider of secure network connectivity solutions based in London, has announced a £1.5 million investment to accelerate its transition into the rapidly expanding Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) market. This milestone is set to bolster the company’s growth and commitment to delivering robust enterprise network solutions across the public and private sectors.

Alongside the financial boost, Dan Kline has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), tasked with steering the company through its next phase of expansion. Cloud Gateway will build upon its existing Managed Service Provider (MSP) model to transition into a full-service NaaS platform.

The successful funding round reinforces Cloud Gateway’s position as a key player in the secure network connectivity market. The investment will accelerate the development of its NaaS platform, designed to assist customers in overcoming the challenges of modern network and security architecture. The company will also expand its sales and marketing efforts, broadening its market reach and enhancing customer support capabilities.

Cloud Gateway works with organisations across healthcare, government, and financial services, facilitating their digital transformation. Clients include the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra), HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS), Avon and Somerset Police, and a major UK insurance company.

With the appointment of Dan Kline as CEO, Cloud Gateway co-founder Justin Day will transition to the role of Chief Product Officer (CPO). Mr Day, with 25 years of experience in enterprise networking, will focus on ensuring the NaaS platform meets evolving market needs.

“Cloud Gateway has always been about solving real-world problems with cutting-edge technology. I’m excited to dedicate my efforts to ensuring our platform continues to deliver transformative value to our customers. This investment is a testament to the strength of our vision and the incredible efforts of the entire Cloud Gateway team. It enables us to take bold steps toward delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers while setting new standards in secure networking,” said Justin Day.

Dan Kline, who joined Cloud Gateway as Chief Operating Officer in April 2024, now assumes the CEO role. With over 25 years of experience scaling businesses, Mr Kline brings the expertise needed to drive Cloud Gateway’s expansion.

“I am honoured to take on the role of CEO at such an exciting time for Cloud Gateway. With this investment and the incredible talent within our team, we are poised to drive forward our vision and lead the industry in delivering innovative, secure networking solutions,” said Dan Kline.
