Lighthouse Intelligence, a London-based hotel analytics firm, has secured a £296 million investment led by KKR, valuing the company at over £800 million. This follows a £64 million Series B round in 2021.

Founded in 2012, Lighthouse (formerly OTA Insight) provides a suite of software tools designed to help revenue managers, commercial leaders, hotel operators and accommodation owners optimise bookings, streamline operations, and improve guest experiences, by tracking competitors and customer demand.

Leveraging proprietary technology and AI, Lighthouse processes over 400 terabytes of travel and market data daily, offering real-time insights that enable hospitality providers to make informed operational decisions.

The company claims its products are used by over 70,000 hospitality businesses across 185 countries, worldwide, analysing data from over 300,000 hotels.

Key products include Rate Insight, which tracks competitors’ room prices and identifies opportunities to optimise rates; Channel Manager, which automates the process of listing hotel rooms across multiple booking websites, preventing overbookings and ensuring consistent pricing; and Market Intelligence, which analyses consumer behaviour, such as hotel searches and flight bookings, to identify sales growth opportunities.

Lighthouse plans to use the new funding to expand its product portfolio, introducing advanced data management and artificial intelligence features. It will also expand its international presence by offering more localised solutions and support.

Sean Fitzpatrick, CEO, said in a blog post on the company’s website: “We are thrilled to announce that we’ve secured a £296 million investment from leading global investment firm KKR to support the next phase of our growth. This investment marks a significant milestone for us and will accelerate our mission to reimagine the commercial strategy for the $15 billion global travel & hospitality technology market.

With KKR’s support, we will accelerate the development of our next generation data and AI capabilities in the Lighthouse platform, giving our customers access to tools that deliver real business impact. This means deeper insights, advanced automation, and a more seamless user experience—all designed to help hotels and hospitality businesses compete and win in an increasingly dynamic marketplace.”

Lighthouse employs more than 700 staff worldwide.
