CloudPay, based in Andover, UK, is enhancing its payroll solutions through a new integration with Workday, Inc. This collaboration aims to streamline global payroll operations for multinational companies.

CloudPay, a firm based in Andover, UK, has announced a collaboration with Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY) to introduce the Global Payroll Connect solution. This new service is designed to provide a comprehensive global payroll experience, ensuring customers enjoy integrated and efficient solutions.

Since its establishment in 2012, CloudPay has been a pivotal partner for Workday, pioneering in payroll integration. It was the first to receive certification for the Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI) and to offer a singular integration solution for multiple countries. Currently, with around 3,000 active integrations and numerous customers trialling the Additional Payroll Data feature, CloudPay is a prominent player in the Workday integration sector. The forthcoming release of Workday’s Global Payroll Hub will further augment CloudPay’s offerings, providing customers with early access to the latest features and bolstering its position in the marketplace.

A Payroll Operations Manager involved in the early adopter program commented, “I’ve been waiting for years for a solution to automate and enable self-service for local payroll data collection. While many aspects of our new hire onboarding are automated, we still rely on payroll forms and a lot of copying and pasting. I was excited to hear that CloudPay was developing the Additional Payroll Data (APD) feature and thrilled to try it out firsthand. Enabling the feature in our Workday tenant was straightforward, and we immediately started sending test data to CloudPay.”

CloudPay has recently secured a $120 million funding round, which supports its continuous innovation and customer service excellence in the payroll sector. The company’s latest integration with Workday is set to address the increasing complexities of global payroll and revolutionise operations for multinational corporations. In its recent Payroll Efficiency Index (PEI), CloudPay demonstrated how advanced validation technologies can reduce errors and enhance efficiency, with 43% of payroll professionals pointing to AI and payroll technology as pivotal to the future.

Nick Webb, CloudPay’s CMO, stated, “CloudPay is proud to extend its partnership with Workday and continue setting the standard in global payroll technology. We’ve been ahead of the pack for years when it comes to Workday integrations, and now, with the Global Payroll Connect Solution, we’re enabling businesses to unlock the future of payroll. CloudPay’s solutions are built to scale, and we’re excited to lead the industry as the future unfolds.”
