Cornwall’s alternative network provider, Wildanet, has announced a series of senior appointments to drive its ambitious Full Fibre network expansion across the county.

Simon Hughes joins Wildanet as Chief Commercial Officer. A seasoned telecoms and tech veteran, Simon brings a wealth of experience from Microsoft, BT, BP, and various scale-up businesses. His most recent role was as Chief Commercial Officer at County Broadband.

Alastair Woods has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer. With a strong track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, Alastair previously led Openreach’s Full Fibre build programme across the South West, South East and London.

Jai Madhvani joins as Chief Financial Officer. A chartered accountant, Jai has held senior finance roles at Deutsche Bank, PwC, and The Collective. These appointments complement the leadership team led by CEO Helen Wylde-Archibald and Chief Strategy & Technology Officer Justin Clark.
