Vente AI, a London-based startup aiming to revolutionise recruitment processes through automation, has secured £500,000 in pre-seed funding just six months after its launch.

The funding will be used to integrate Vente AI’s product with existing recruitment tools, streamlining user onboarding and enhancing efficiency.

The startup addresses a significant pain point for recruitment agencies, which often allocate time to lead identification and analysis, rather than focusing on recruiting. Vente AI’s AI-powered lead analysis model automates this process, providing valuable insights and recommendations on potential opportunities.

In just two months since its product launch, Vente AI claims to have generated over £300,000 in additional revenue for agencies by processing 250 candidates more efficiently.

The funding round was led by early-stage investor Antler VC, with participation from a group of angel backers. Vente AI is currently operating out of Antler’s tech space in London’s East End.

Vente AI co-founder and CEO Cameron Briggs previously founded a recruitment tech platform, X0PA AI, which filtered applications by relevance to the client. X0PA AI was the first HRTech platform to be AI verified.

Cameron said: “I spent over 12 years working in the recruitment industry and know how time-consuming business development can be. Recruitment agencies spend approximately 40% of their time on business development activities. Our platform reduces these efforts by 90%, enabling recruiters to focus on building relationships and placing candidates.

“Recruiters use manual processes to match the best candidates with great companies. Automating these processes will reduce costs and increase productivity for recruiters, which could have a significant impact on one of the UK’s largest professional services industry and create a more efficient and competitive employment market in the process.”
