Zoho Corporation has introduced a new iteration of its self-service BI and analytics platform, Zoho Analytics, which now includes over 100 updates such as advanced AI and machine learning capabilities. These enhancements facilitate predictive analysis, diagnostic insights, and automated report and dashboard creation, providing users with more power, intelligence, and flexibility.
Among the updates, Zoho Analytics now features a custom machine learning model-building studio, integration with Open AI, and extensions for third-party BI platforms. Alun Rafique, CEO and Co-Founder at Market Dojo, remarked on the significance of these enhancements: “As developers, Zoho Analytics 6.0’s new AutoML capabilities caught our attention immediately. Our team is currently working on a model to analyse and predict customer churn, among other projects. Zia Insights’ diagnostic capabilities have been a game-changer as well, helping us understand the underlying causes of a spike or drop in sales or performance so we can take quick action.”
He further highlighted the platform’s user-centric advancements, “Again, as solutions providers, it’s critical we understand what’s working and what’s not within our own company before helping other businesses and professionals. Zoho Analytics 6.0 continues to give us that insight and more. ‘Ask Zia’ is another useful feature. With a simple prompt, I’m able to get the right insights I need instantly. The new chart types are amazing, and I’m particularly impressed with the racing and sunburst charts.”
Key areas of development in Zoho Analytics include Data Management, AI, Data Science & Machine Learning, and Extensibility. The Data Management Hub now supports end-to-end data pipeline creation, transformation, and management with visual tools and natural language processing. The Unified Metrics Layer allows users to define and standardise business metrics, enhancing data consistency and accessibility.
The platform’s integration with Generative AI powers features like Ask Zia, which now supports Spanish and French, and Auto Analysis for automated report generation. Zoho Analytics also enhances its machine learning offerings with a DSML Studio for building custom models, featuring AutoML for no-code model creation and an integrated Python environment for advanced customisations.
Platform Extensibility includes new BI fabric capabilities, allowing users to consolidate insights from multiple platforms like Power BI and Tableau into a single portal, with fine-grained access control. Additional tools enable users to create custom data connectors and integrate actionable workflows seamlessly.
The latest version of Zoho Analytics is available immediately, with detailed pricing available on the Zoho website. Zoho is based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, UK.
