Tech companies across the county have the opportunity to secure significant funding and investment in 2025 through Growth Forge, the south west’s leading tech accelerator programme.

Applications are now open for the programme, which helped businesses in the region secure over £2 million in funding last year, including £1.6 million in investment and £300,000 in grants.

Delivered by Tech South West in partnership with Microsoft, Bishop Fleming, Future Space and the British Business Bank, Growth Forge caters to tech companies of all sizes and specialisms, from early-stage startups to established firms.

The programme employs a data-driven approach, utilising a profiling mechanism to assess each company’s strengths and weaknesses and tailor support accordingly. This includes one-to-one mentoring, workshops, digital learning resources, and networking opportunities.

New for 2025, specialist growth tracks will offer dedicated support and workshops for companies in AI, marine and clean technology.

Director of Tech South West, Dan Pritchard, said: “The south west tech sector is burgeoning with high-potential tech firms. For those that make it on to the programme, Growth Forge gives them targeted specialist support and investment opportunities, accelerating and enhancing their growth journey.

“Data modelling ensures a truly bespoke approach based on each company’s specific growth priorities, which is why Growth Forge 2025 can propel ambitious companies forward whether they are at pre-seed, scaling, or established stage.

Applications for Growth Forge 2025 are open now and cost from £50 per month with a minimum three-month commitment.
