Green Power Solutions has secured a £175,000 investment from the British Business Bank’s South West Investment Fund, backed by the UK government. The funding will be used to scale up the company’s innovative energy management platform, 3MS.
The Truro-based firm’s 3MS platform is designed to optimise energy consumption for businesses reliant on off-grid power sources, such as diesel generators. By integrating with existing hardware, the software enables remote monitoring, management and optimisation of energy usage, helping to reduce costs and carbon emissions.
Sam Taylor, CEO, Green Power Solutions, said the firm was “thrilled” to receive the support, which will help it ensure it is “well-equipped” to provide “innovative and sustainable solutions for a wide range of industries”.
The company said it will use the funding to build capacity across sales, customer service and in-house development. It aims to become a leading name in performance monitoring for off-grid assets.
The South West Investment Fund is committed to supporting innovative businesses and driving economic growth in the region. By providing access to finance and expert support, the fund aims to help businesses scale up and create jobs.
