Data Centre Response, a provider of data centre solutions and power protection services, has completed a management buyout backed by HSBC UK.

The £2 million funding package from HSBC UK’s North West division has enabled the company’s management team, comprising CEO John Peers, Technical Director Paul Anderson and Commercial Director Jack Ogden, to become the sole owners of the business.

Data Centre Response specialises in a range of services, including backup power systems for various industries, and design, build and project management of data centres valued between £200,000 and £5 million across the UK

The company is part of the newly formed Creative Power Protection Group Ltd. Now, under the successful buyout, Data Centre Response’s management team is embarking on an acquisition strategy to increase its workforce by a third.

John Peers, chief executive of Data Centre Response Ltd, said: “The successful repurchase of our shares and the support from HSBC UK marks a pivotal moment for Data Centre Response Ltd as it transforms into the Creative Power Protection Group Ltd. With this funding, we are now able to enhance our service offerings and continue our acquisition strategy across the UK.”
