Software firm Ideagen secures Virgin Voyages business

Nottingham-based software company, Ideagen, has entered into a partnership with Virgin Voyages to bolster the health and safety of passengers and crew across its global fleet of luxury cruise ships. This collaboration integrates Ideagen’s maritime safety software, Ideagen Tritan, marking a significant step in medical management within the cruise industry.

The agreement enables Ideagen to supply Virgin Voyages with comprehensive support, covering everything from electronic health record management to pre-employment medical examinations, claims handling, administrative services, and case management. This effort will ensure the wellbeing of all passengers and crew, leveraging Ideagen’s technological expertise and customised software solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of Virgin Voyages.

Moreover, the partnership promises to enhance the overall health, safety, and wellbeing services provided to guests and crew, thanks to Ideagen’s extensive regulatory knowledge. This collaboration is poised to improve the quality of care, enhance service levels, and create new revenue opportunities by reducing fixed costs.
