Demand for cloud-based services sees Crown Workforce Management add 4 to Tamworth Business Park workforce
Crown Workforce Management, headquartered in Tamworth Business Park, specialises in workforce management software and counts 16 UK police forces amongst its 200-strong client base. It recently expanded its team in response to growing demand, appointing four new professionals to support increasing interest from businesses seeking to transition from traditional on-site servers to cloud-based solutions for managing HR data.
This expansion comes as the company aims to capitalise on the 40 per cent year-on-year increase in demand for cloud-based services over the past year.
Lewis Tate has over a decade of IT experience in both the public and private sectors. He joins the company as a Technical Support Team Lead and Cloud Systems Administrator, where his role involves overseeing various cloud-based projects.
Rebecca D’Agostino comes in as the Head of Marketing, bringing over 15 years of marketing expertise in software technology and legal sectors to the team.
Nikki West has been appointed as a Functional Support Consultant, and Chris Williams as a Technical Support Junior Consultant. These appointments have increased Crown Workforce Management’s total workforce to approximately 70 employees, with an annual turnover of £6 million.
Mike Hawkesford, managing director at Crown Workforce Management, said: “Business demand for the cloud has been fuelled by remote working and a greater understanding of its security benefits, and looks set to be an area of long-term growth for us. That’s why it is vital that we invest in additional talent now to complement our existing workforce so that we can capitalise on a rise in custom, and invest in new services and products to stay ahead of the industry curve.
“I’m delighted to welcome Lewis, Rebecca, Nikki and Chris, and look forward to working with them and the wider team at what is an exciting time to expand the business further.”
