Pinnacle, specialists in providing Sage business management software and IT Services, has acquired the Sage software & IT Services business of Midlands based MSA Systems Ltd (MSA) for an undisclosed sum.
Pinnacle will take over MSA’s customer base of over 80 sites in a move designed to support its penetration geographically into the Midlands region and to diversify its customer base.
James Spencer, MD of Pinnacle, commented on the deal: “The acquisition of MSA is a great success story for Pinnacle as we are now firmly established in the Midlands region. With our existing team in the area and the staff joining our team from MSA, we are now in a great position to launch further growth in our business.
“Pinnacle sees the Midlands as a key strategic location as we continue to operate nationwide while focusing on local support and account management teams to service our customers. We plan further investment in the region to boost our sales capabilities.”
Mike Smith, MD of MSA, said as he and his team join the UK’s leading Sage & IT services provider.
“MSA has been as Sage Partner for over 27 years and the Pinnacle culture is a natural fit for our loyal MSA customers and staff,” he said in a statement. “The combination of Sage software products and IT Services, and the fact that Pinnacle brings to the Company depth and breadth of technical expertise and talent makes this a very strategic move.”
The Pinnacle Group now employs around 120 people and supports over 1,000 customers sites from its 11 offices including the newly acquired site in Halesowen, Birmingham. Its strategy is to continue growing organically and through acquisition of Sage & IT services businesses in the UK & Ireland.
