Leeds’ Axiologik to present UK tech plan at political party conferences

Pivotal technology trade association, techUK, is poised to seize the spotlight at the forthcoming major political party conferences slated for September and October. Their focal point will be the UK Tech Plan, an ambitious initiative aimed at revolutionising the nation’s tech landscape. Bolstered by invaluable collaboration from Leeds’ digital delivery consultancy Axiologik – a key contributor in co-hosting a roundtable event to garner insights for the plan – techUK is prepared to unveil a visionary blueprint. This blueprint outlines the potential for the forthcoming government to harness technology for positive transformation across various sectors within the country.

Addressing a spectrum of challenges elucidated within the report – encompassing aspects like technology adoption, investment, and procurement – techUK endeavours to illustrate the potential of effective policymaking in propelling the UK economy through robust support for the technology sector. The dissemination of their presentations is planned for both the Conservative conference in early October and the Labour conference from the 8th to the 11th of October, along with participation in other significant political gatherings.

Within these conferences, techUK is also slated to host ‘Tech Tuesdays’, a series of specialised tech-centric events designed to foster innovation and technological advancement across diverse industries. These events will serve as a platform for industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to convene and deliberate over the latest technological breakthroughs shaping the trajectory of the UK’s future.

Anticipating the party conferences, Axiologik and techUK synergized their efforts, co-hosting an impactful roundtable event at Axiologik’s headquarters in Leeds. This high-level gathering assembled thought leaders and experts to engage in candid discussions about the critical facets confronting the UK tech sector. The discourse delved into pressing matters such as the skills gap, technology adoption and scalability, investment, data management, and procurement. The session effectively captured firsthand insights and sentiments about the current state of the UK’s technological landscape.

Eminent for its prowess in driving digital transformation endeavours across various organisations, Axiologik solidified its commitment to propelling the tech sector. Particularly noteworthy is the company’s pivotal role in supporting the NHS’s digital response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Axiologik played a critical part in vital projects such as COVID-19 testing and vaccination programs, showcasing outstanding leadership in designing, constructing, and scaling digital services, while delivering a wide spectrum of citizen and NHS-oriented products.

In parallel, techUK acknowledges Axiologik’s significant contributions to tech clusters, notably in Leeds and West Yorkshire, where their unwavering efforts have fortified the delivery and adoption of digital services within regional domains.

Rachel McElroy, Head of Marketing at Axiologik and Vice Chair of Communication for the Yorkshire Board of the Certified Institute of Marketing (CIM), said: “We are immensely proud to be a member of techUK and to have worked in collaboration with them on the roundtable event leading up to the presentation of the UK Tech Plan. At Axiologik, we support projects that highlight the value of technology within the North which is crucial to leveling up the UK.
