Burnley IT firm can boast it’s big in Japan

A Burnely IT specialist has secured recognition from one of the world’s leading tech outfits – in Japan

Bosses at Holker IT are celebrating after being named Fujitsu small or medium-sized business partner of the year, thanks to managing director, Matthew Metcalfe, and his team tripling their revenues on the Japanese giant’s products over this year.

Matthew said: “The award is a real team effort. Full credit to all the staff here because it’s their collective hard work that has helped achieve this recognition. We pride ourselves on our partnership with Fujitsu and I can only see our relationship going from strength to strength.”

Holker IT is in its tenth year of business and the two companies celebrated their partnership with a special focus day at the Holker IT head office.

Nicola El Shebasi, partner development manager for Fujitsu, said: “Holker’s first year with us has been fantastic and we have developed a strong partnership together.”

Matthew concluded: “Fujitsu offer some of the best products and services on the market and we see this very much as a long-term partnership. The team at Holker has secured some huge contracts this year, in particular providing servers and all flash storage systems, so the award is fully-deserved. We now look forward to our partnership with Holker delivering yet more success for both firms.”
