Hewlett Packard Enterprise currently operates across six locations in the UK – Bracknell, London, Bristol, Belfast, Warrington, and Erskine.

Its latest site – at No. 1 Circle Square – will comprise 20,000 sq ft of space on the seventh floor and is expected to open in the summer of 2020. As part of the deal, the office will be custom fit to HPE’s specifications.

It has taken up a ten-year lease for the managed office space, which includes more than 200 permanent seats and has the capacity for almost 100 more in secondary seating.

Marc Waters, managing director of UK and Ireland at HPE, said: “As we continue to grow our business in the UK, we’re really pleased to build out an innovative workspace for our people in the heart of Manchester.

“The intent of the Circle Square development is to build a collaborative community of leaders in technology, business, arts, and science, which is compelling. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is excited to be a part of such a progressive project that is well aligned to our core values.”

Circle Square is a joint venture between Bruntwood SciTech and Select Property Group and is already home to Manchester Technology Centre, which is occupied by more than 20 data science and technology innovation businesses, as well as pop-up retail destination Hatch.
