Industrial IoT firm Prismtech expands Gateshead presence
Industrial IoT firm PrismTech has taken space at a refurbished building on Gateshead’s Team Valley.
PrismTech supplies data connectivity and IIoT platform solutions, tools and professional services its customers need to build Industrial IoT systems.
PrismTech has twice been named a ‘Cool Vendor’ by Gartner.
Now, it’s moved to a property formerly known as Talipot House. The building consultancy team at Naylors was subsequently appointed to undertake a full renovation project, creating 17,000 sq ft of new grade A office space.
Naylors brokered the letting of the first floor to PrismTech, which has had a presence on Team Valley for more than 25 years.
The expansion is a result of the company’s growth within the industrial Internet of Things sector following its acquisition by ADLINK Technology in December 2015.
Lawrence Ross, chief executive of PrismTech, said: “The North East has always been a solid base for PrismTech and by investing further here shows just how committed the company is to the region and its people.
“This new facility and the increased staff numbers will help to ensure that we are fully able to the meet the needs of our rapidly growing IIoT client base both now and in the future.”
Gavin Black and Partners acted on behalf of PrismTech.
