Cyber security firm ECSC Group appoints new CFO

ECSC Group, the Bradford-based cyber security specialist has hired Stephen Hammell as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and director.

Prior to joining ECSC, Hammell was group finance director of eBECS, an international IT consultancy. Hammell was also director in corporate finance at Grant Thornton and has held corporate finance roles at PwC and Yorkshire Bank.

Ian Mann, chief executive of ECSC, said: “The bard of ECSC would like to thank Keith for his efforts and commitment, especially in bringing ECSC to AIM, and look forward to continue working with him in the future.”

“In line with our strategy for 2017, we are delighted to have recruited Stephen as our new CFO.

“His experience in various financial roles will be valuable as we continue to execute our strategy and plans to scale up the business.”

Keith Kelly will step down from the board with effect from 2 May 2017, but will remain with the company as finance director and company secretary.
