Liverpool IoT firm secures £1m deal on India trade trip
Baltic Triangle-based Red Ninja, a Liverpool healthcare technology company has landed a £1.1 million deal to use internet technology to help save lives.
The firm now aims to expand its healthcare technology products in India after securing the deal while on a trade trip with the Prime Minister.
As well as connected devices, the firm has also developed related apps to monitor health issues, such as In Hand – designed by and for young people to manage their mental health, and the Helping Hand apps for assisting older people with online shopping.

“We’ve been assisting Indian cities over the last few years, helping India prepare for future technologies and ultimately use technology to save lives.
“It’s a privilege to share technology that was created in Liverpool with the rest of the world.”
The firm was part of a 38 strong delegation led by current UK Prime Minister Theresa May to highlight British small and medium-sized companies to Indian investors.
The UK-India TECH Summit was hosted in New Delhi by the Prime Minister and her Indian counterpart, set up to help boost hi-tech trade between India and the UK.
