Smartgate Solutions seeks investors
Leeds-based Smartgate Solutions helps companies to carry out time-consuming and often complex operational tasks is seeking further investment to help it expand.
The software business was founded in 2012 by Paul Johnson and Lee Williams, has launched a pitch on the Syndicate Room platform having already raised £400,000 from the Finance Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund, and is looking to raise a further £200,000 of growth capital.
The company specialises in providing quality and compliance systems for the health and social care, security and transport sectors.
The main use of funds is to increase its sales and marketing resources to further exploit its core business and accelerate receptive new markets.
Managing director Paul Johnson said: “We have qualified opportunities of £500m – we currently process a small percentage of that and we want to accelerate and expand that.”
Smartgate Solutions has recently launched its NHS offering following its G-Cloud approval, and established a strong partner network for its overseas business.
