Start-up PiiiCK to help shoppers save time
A technology start-up that will save people time when they shop has been launched by Kate Drewett and Roberto Simi.
For many years they developed interactive tools that helped people choose complex products and services for global technology companies.
The pair are now focused on their new venture, a guided shopping tool, PiiiCK. It will provide “a better way to shop”, saving people time when searching for household items and therefore simplifying people’s lives.
Kate said: “Shopping for household things like white goods and electrical items has become really complicated.
“There is so much choice, so many subjective product reviews – as well as the products themselves becoming more complex – it has all made buying everyday stuff feel very stressful. Just ask anyone who has shopped for a washing machine recently – it can take weeks to research.”
PiiiCK came about from their belief that they could simplify and make our lives easier by taking a more pragmatic approach to things that take up our time, like shopping.
