NHS software provider, BookWise Solutions, posts record turnover
Celebrating its 22nd year in business, BookWise Solutions, the software supplier for the NHS, has reached a significant milestone with a landmark turnover.
Located at Faraday Court in Burton on Trent, the company which was set up by Denise Williamson and Lee Copestake in 2001, has achieved a record turnover exceeding £1 million.
BookWise Solutions originally introduced its Elements product, facilitating room bookings in healthcare training centres, but over time, its in-house team has gone on to create software tailored to specifically assist outpatient departments and a range of specialised day units.
Managing director, Denise Williamson, said: “A highlight of the year so far has been the commitment from University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust to collaborate with us on the development of a new product called BookWise Renal. This partnership sets the stage for further expansion into the renal care market.”
This year, the company signed contracts with an additional six NHS Trusts, meaning BookWise Solutions now serves 319 NHS locations. To support its continuing growth, BookWise Solutions has hired new team members including a sales consultant, implementation & projects manager, senior developer and administrative support assistant to keep its service levels high.
Williamson added: “We really have had an exceptional couple of years, and 2023 is turning out to be no different. Our mission has always been to share the difference that scheduling can make every day, and we wouldn’t be here without the increased demand for efficiencies within the NHS.”
