East Midlands businesses to boost AI-readiness through Chamber and NetMonkeys partnership
East Midlands businesses are poised to enhance their AI capabilities with the announcement of a new partnership between the East Midlands Chamber and software firm, NetMonkeys. This collaboration will provide a series of workshops and training sessions designed to equip businesses with the necessary tools and knowledge for AI implementation.
NetMonkeys, established in 2006, operates from multiple locations in the UK, including their main office in Nottingham’s city centre. Their services encompass a broad spectrum of IT solutions including Microsoft Cloud, cybersecurity, and business intelligence, with a particular focus on AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation.
Scott Knowles, Chief Executive of the East Midlands Chamber, highlighted the enduring presence and importance of AI in business: “AI is here, it’s here to stay and for the East Midlands to thrive, businesses of all sizes need to be ready, whether they’re already some way into a plan and want to develop it or haven’t yet dipped their toe into the water and want to learn more.”
NetMonkeys’ expertise in advanced technology will complement the Chamber’s vast understanding of regional business challenges. Together, they aim to provide superior support to local businesses, propelling their AI strategies. “Pairing the resources of the Chamber and the vast insight we have into the challenges our members face, with the extensive digital skills of NetMonkeys means we can collectively deliver truly outstanding support to businesses across the East Midlands and propel their AI journey,” added Knowles.
Nick Gall, Managing Director of NetMonkeys, also commented on the partnership’s benefits: “Embracing AI gives businesses not only a protective armour against the changing technological landscape to safeguard success but upskills them with the tools to get ahead of competition. To date, our story has been about being steps ahead of impending change and that’s why we love doing what we do.”
The initiative promises to be a significant step for the regional economy, helping businesses at various stages of AI adoption to effectively integrate and leverage AI technologies.
