Derbyshire IT services firm Syntax working with NHS to roll out Covid-19 vaccine
Derbyshire based company, Syntax IT Services, is supporting NHS Lanarkshire with a software solution to help them to roll out the newly approved coronavirus vaccines across the County of Lanarkshire.
Syntax has an already established relationship with the Occupational Health Department, SALUS, within NHS Lanarkshire, having developed a case management software solution for the department a number of years ago. It’s this software which has been adapted and developed to allow for the efficient and effective roll-out of the vaccine, to protect those most vulnerable across the county.
The cleverly designed case management software allows those eligible for the vaccine to book through a digitised booking system, supporting NHS Lanarkshire with what is a huge and complex logistical and technical operation in the fight to protect against COVID-19.
Jonathan Hodgkinson, Sales Director at Syntax, says; ‘It really has been an honour to work with and support NHS Lanarkshire throughout the pandemic. Their tireless work – just like the rest of the NHS across the UK – has been so evident to see for all and so being able to support them
with this piece of the jigsaw has been a highlight for the team this year’.
With regards to the support Fiona Kennedy from SALUS, NHS Lanarkshire, has said: “We have a great working relationship with Syntax, they have been able to respond quickly in support of this urgent requirement and enabled us to achieve tight deadlines’.
