Dassault Systèmes takes over former Warwick IBM campus
French 3D product design, simulation and manufacturing technology corporation has signed a lease with FI Real Estate Management (FIREM) for 18,500 sq ft of space at the former IBM campus in Warwick.
Dassault Systèmes has agreed a deal to occupy space at The Woods, following the completion of FIREM’s £5 million refurbishment to transform the former IBM campus into a flagship CAT A development, including co-working spaces aimed at the region’s freelance market.
Completion of the 12-month refurbishment programme was reached in September last year, when more than 60 per cent of the 80,000 sq ft building was already let to Quanta Dialysis Technologies and Alliance Healthcare.
Tim Knowles, founder and managing director of FI Real Estate Management, said: “Our vision was always to create something unique for the Warwick market that would attract homegrown and global businesses, representing the ambition of this fantastic town.
“When we launched The Woods at the end of 2022, we were joined by the region’s business community and mayor of Warwick, Cllr Parminder Singh Birdi, who spoke of the impact that our development will have on the town’s economic development.
“We are very proud to welcome Dassault Systèmes as our newest tenant at The Woods and have full confidence that our reimagined office concept will provide an inspirational space where innovation will thrive.”
