Solihull cyber security company acquires consultancy in Warwick
A cyber security company in Solihull has announced the acquisition of a consultancy firm in Warwick.
OmniCyber Security has joined forces with NMG Cybersecurity Consulting with its founder Nish Gopal joining Omni as director of governance, risk and compliance.
Gopal, who has previously worked for the Ministry of Defence, Hewlett-Packard and BAE systems, said he was “delighted” with the deal.
He added: “I was highly impressed by the shear calibre of the team and wealth of experience already at Omni, headed up by director Bobbie Bhogal.
“The breadth of offering we can provide to customers spans the whole cybersecurity spectrum, whether it be cyber essentials for a small SME, to monitoring an international bank’s whole IT infrastructure through our security operation centre.
“Our objective is to make Omni into a market leading boutique cybersecurity consultancy and our vision is to be as agile and flexible as possible.
“By being this way, Omni will be able to tailor our service offerings to meet client’s actual requirements instead of trying to shoehorn standard templated solutions into different clients.
“Omni has taken some big steps in driving the strategy forward by acquiring NMG and partnering with Dark Trace and Sophos – both market leaders in their respective fields.”
Bobbie Bhogal, a director at OmniCyber Security, said: “We are very excited at OmniCyber Security to have acquired NMG Consulting, headed up by Nish Gopal.
“Nish brings with him a wealth of hands-on experience in governance, risk, and compliance strengthening OmbiCyber’s capability to consult in subjects such as ISO27001, GDPR, supplier assurance and PCI.
“Nish will work closely with Jason McWhirr, our QSA, to provide a first class information security services to our clients.”
