Conigital awarded £500M for the development of AI-powered driverless vehicles
Conigital, a driverless vehicle startup based in Birmingham, has raised £500 million in Series A+ funding, via a strategic partnership with a global Private Equity infrastructure firm that manages £150 billion in assets.
This funding round marks a watershed moment for Conigital and reaffirms the company’s commitment to reshaping the mobility landscape for future generations and makes the company the most well-funded driverless vehicle startup in the UK and Europe.
Conigital remains steadfast in its dedication to ongoing projects. The company will launch a bridge round of £12 million to supplement existing commitments. This bridge financing ensures continuous progress as Conigital nears the completion of larger funds.
