Moasure wins Scale Up award at EY Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024
Birmingham played host to the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2024 celebration dinner last night, bringing together some of the Midlands and South West’s most dynamic business leaders. The event marked the third such dinner in the competition, showcasing the achievements of some of the UK’s top entrepreneurial talent.
Among the five category winners, Moasure, led by Mo Hussain and Alan Rock, took home the Scale-Up Award. The Warwick-based company, known for revolutionising the way measurements are taken, has developed the world’s first motion-based measuring tool. Moasure uses advanced accelerometers and gyroscopes to measure distances, angles, levels, and areas in 3D space, eliminating the need for tapes, lasers, or GPS. The company’s innovative technology is now being used in more than 70 countries worldwide, driving substantial growth in both domestic and international markets.
Speaking after the win, Mo Hussain expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’re thrilled to be recognised for our work at Moasure. Innovation and pushing boundaries are at the heart of what we do, and this award acknowledges our team’s hard work and commitment to growth.”
The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme is a global initiative that celebrates entrepreneurs who demonstrate vision, leadership, and success, while also working to improve the quality of life in their communities. The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year awards are judged on four key pillars: Entrepreneurial Spirit, Purpose, Growth, and Impact. Entrepreneurs are recognised for their ability to identify opportunities to innovate, take risks to realise their vision, and demonstrate resilience. Equally important are the company’s commitment to an inspiring purpose, their strategy for sustainable growth, and the positive impact they make on customers and society.
Moasure stood out for its impressive growth trajectory, commitment to innovation, and its ability to expand into international markets, while delivering a product that simplifies tasks for professionals across multiple sectors.
With its motion-based technology and a clear vision for the future, Moasure continues to break new ground, making a mark not only in the UK but globally. This recognition at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year awards solidifies its position as a driving force in the tech industry.
