Netcom gets awarded DfE funding for advanced digital skills training
Netcom, a digital skills training provider located in Birmingham, has been granted over £2.4 million by the Department for Education to offer complimentary courses.
The firm will make available spaces for 640 participants in these part-time, online courses, which encompass subjects like cyber security, business data analytics, infrastructure, and digital marketing.
These courses are designed to open up opportunities for individuals aged 19 and above to delve into new fields and broaden their skill sets, while also supplying local businesses with a cadre of trained professionals.
This news comes on the heels of the successful training programmes that Netcom Training has been conducting in collaboration with combined authorities across England.
Director Kevin Vashi said: “We are proud of the achievements of our trainers, learners and staff in 2023. Their hard work has contributed immensely to the upskilling and supporting of local communities in areas across the UK. In 2024, we look forward to expanding from our regional focus and delivering our range of courses to learners on a national scale.”
