Birmingham Tech has joined forces with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce to provide targeted support to women working in the tech sector. This partnership aims to offer ten deserving women a Future Faces membership, granting them access to a wide range of events, business assistance, and opportunities to enhance their visibility.
The selected individuals will enjoy benefits associated with a Future Faces membership. These perks include attending monthly events focused on personal development and social networking, interacting with accomplished professionals in the field, the chance to receive mentoring from seasoned Chamber members or become mentors themselves, increased exposure through profile opportunities with the Future Faces Committee, and annual awards that celebrate the remarkable talent within the region.
Beyond the advantages offered by Future Faces, recipients of this membership will gain exclusive access to Birmingham Tech events, mentors, and potential investors possessing valuable industry insights. They will also benefit from tailored support and resources specific to the tech industry, as well as direct access to the Birmingham Tech team for personalized guidance and advice.
The primary objective of this partnership is to support and uplift women in the business world, with a particular focus on the tech industry. By pooling their resources and collaborating towards this common goal, Birmingham Tech and the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce aim to maximise their impact on the sector, contributing to the region’s ambition of establishing itself as a global tech hub.
It is worth noting that Future Faces, the largest young professional network in the West Midlands, serves as a platform for networking, development, and recognition of young professionals across all industries. Patrons of this organisation include Deutsche Bank, Gymshark, Mills & Reeves, Midland Air Ambulance, and Aston University.
