Leicester’s AIM-listed telecommunications firm CloudCall has announced the appointment of Paul Clark as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Clark brings two decades of experience to the role, and joined CloudCall on Monday from Tandem Bank where he was the CTO, responsible for technology strategy, architecture, engineering and delivery operations.
The company was founded in 2012 and employs around 170 people across four countries and boasts 40,000 users of its business VoIP platform.
CloudCall said that Clark had significantly improved the use of automation and self-service capability at Tandem, both of which are key to its own product roadmap.
Prior to Tandem, Clark held senior technical leadership roles at leading brands including HSBC, ITV, BBC and Channel 4.
He will report directly into CEO Simon Cleaver as a member of the Executive Committee rather than being a full member of the PLC Board.
