Kingsbridge-headquartered business-to-business e-commerce specialist, GOb2b, has been acquired by ClearCourse, a national software and payments company, for an undisclosed sum.

The deal will see GOb2b join ClearCourse’s portfolio of companies, providing its customers with access to a wider range of software solutions and resources. GOb2b specializes in helping businesses manage high volumes of stock, pricing options, and card payments, and works with a number of well-known brands including Yokohama and Viatek.

ClearCourse will be able to leverage GOb2b’s expertise to offer its payments solution to a new customer base, while GOb2b will benefit from ClearCourse’s extensive networks and resources. Paul Dorey, former CEO of GOb2b, will remain involved with the company on a consultancy basis.

The transaction was led by partner Simon Davies, who said: “GOb2b has built a robust customer base which has exciting growth potential, thanks to its ability to seamlessly onboard new customers while nurturing its existing relationships. In ClearCourse, it has found a partner that has the experience and resources to allow it to continue to expand while delivering the high-quality service it is known for. I look forward to seeing both businesses grow together in the coming years.”
